SSAB Special Steels in Oxelösund is looking for approximately 300 summer interns for the summer of 2026!

Are you ready for a challenge and want to develop as a person? Work as a summer intern with us and take the chance to become a significant resource in a team and gain knowledge about steel production. As a summer intern, you will also get a glimpse of the future and the green transition. We will have various types of open positions in production, maintenance, and transportation for the summer. The summer internships are offered in various parts of our production operations, and we will match you with departments such as production, maintenance, and transportation. With us, you will be part of a shift team working morning, afternoon, and night shifts. Between shifts, you will have three to five days off. Together with your colleagues, you will ensure that safety comes first and that production runs with high quality.

During your time with us, you will learn everything you need to succeed in your role. For those without prior experience, we offer training for your specific position, such as forklift and crane training. Whether this is your first job or you already have work experience, this is an experience you will benefit from in the future. You will be an important cog in our operations throughout the summer period.

About you

• You are at least 18 years old.
• You are curious, willing to learn, and enjoy working in a team.
• You have a strong work ethic and a positive attitude.
• You can work shifts (early morning, afternoon, and night shifts).
• You are proficient in Swedish, both spoken and written – this is important from a safety perspective.
• If you have a background or education in industry, construction, concrete, maintenance, and/or have forklift, crane, or overhead crane licenses, this is an advantage.
